E-Liquid – No Need To Buy Commercial E Juice by Dan Wilders
One amazing thing about electronic cigarettes is they allow you to make your own E-Liquid. E-Liquid is that component which contains the nicotine content, flavour and other ingredients of electronic cigarettes.
You can always opt to buy electronic cigarettes with prefilled E-Liquid cartridges, which will spare you the trouble of purchasing ingredients and mixing them. But your vaping pleasures will be limited to the flavors and nicotine content of prefilled E-Liquid cartridges of commercial electronic cigarettes.
When you make your own E Juice (another term for E-Liquid), there’s no limit to what you can do. You can even create gallons of E Juice, if you want.

After issuing that warning, let’s go to the ingredients. The base of E-Liquid is water and VG (vegetable glycerin) or PG (propylene glycol). The rest are nicotine and flavorings. To buy the ingredients, you go to the store and ask the attendant that you are looking for propylene glycol that is food grade. You can also buy this ingredient online.
Also buy distilled water. You might ask if you can use faucet water. No, you should not. Water from the faucet contains chemicals like chlorine and sometimes calcium deposits. Unless you want to inhale chlorine, or unless you want calcium deposits to damage the atomizer of your electronic cigarettes, don’t use faucet water.
A very fun part of making your own E Juice is when you add flavorings. Considering the endless choices of flavorings available in the market, your imagination and creativity is the limit. One thing to remember, though: there must be no sugar in your flavoring because sugar screws your atomizer up.
The final ingredients are the nicotine and herbs. People who are avoiding nicotine completely will skip this part. But most smokers who have just shifted from regular tobacco cigarettes to electronic cigarettes cannot imagine their E Juice without nicotine. Some people boil herbs and tobacco and mix them with the liquid nicotine for that added kick.
Now that you have all these basic ingredients, you will measure them according to the ratios that work best to you. All you need to do is a little math. Or you can check the ratios available online. There are separate lists of ratios for zero-nicotine E juice and other ratios for E juice that contains nicotine. You can always modify the ratio to suit your taste.
